(not necessarily ivy league… just good schools)
including Chicago, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wes Virginia,Maryland, Delaware, Conneticut, N. carolina,S. Carolina, Georgia, New York, Vermont, Massachussets, and New Hampshire

Like they said, it depends on your major. If you want to major in the journalism field, you cannot beat The Grady College of Journalism and Mass Comm at the University of Georgia.

If you're looking into theatre, consider the Gainesville Theatre Alliance at Gainesville State College or Brenau University.

If you want a technical type degree consider Georgia Tech.

I can only talk about Georgia colleges b/c that's all I know.

I want to plan a trip to VT for spring break (week of march 10.) I know if I dont plan it then we probably wont end up going. There are about 6-9 kids going. Probably thinking Killi or Stowe I guess? Also Im thinking about only 2 or 3 nights to keep the budget reasonable…

I dont even know where to start with this, Im assuming condo will be the best bet? What can I expect to pay per person/night? What is cheap and expensive- $200 a night really cheap? Any recommendations of a good site or from personal experience? Ahh any help would be awesome!

Awesome would be if you have reservations……Stowe and Killington are booked months ahead during peak winter and spring vacation. Also, unless someone is 21 and has a major credit card you'll have problems getting anything.

best of luck to you!

I am moving to Southern vermont and I am looking for a college that is close. (i dont want to live on campus because of cost difficulty)
I would like to study computer enginnering.
If you have any information available please reply.
Thank you.
And if possible, could you tell me if it would count as being a state resident if im living with my father? (whos been there for years) It would cut some of the cost off, and if theres a way to get around it id like to know if i could pass as a vermont resident.
thanks guys

You should try UVM I am sure they have a good computer program.

I'm planning to enroll in a private college that will cost me an arm and a leg but I think in the long run, it's worth it. First off, I have Dyslexia and a hint of ADD. I am not at all slow in thought just have trouble understanding written and spoken words. However, my analytical and logical skill is above average.

I am applying to Landmark College in Vermont. They specialized in teaching people with learning disability. Since we all are getting too Politically Correct, I don't know if a learning disability is in the form of Dyslexia or do it blanket to cover the mentally slow as well.

I also have Dyslexia with Dysgraphia and ADHD. All are considered learning disabilities. You can go to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke for more information or just put Dyslexia in a search engine to look at more information. Dr. Sally Shaywitz is doing alot in research. The mentaly slow is usually refered to the retarded. FYI: Dyslexics have average to above average IQs.

Good things are taking root all over this beautiful state. Explore the seeds of a new economy, and how they all grow well together.

I applied to Saint Michael’s College in Vermont early action December 1st. I was wondering if anyone knew how long I should expect to wait to hear back from them about whether I am accepted or not? I was thinking two weeks was the typical time and I have looked around on their website with no success as to finding the amount of time I will be spending pulling out my hair! I’m in love with the school and I want to know as soon as possible! Thanks!

The easiest way to find out info is to contact a student. You can start looking for contact information for Vermont colleges here. http://www.collegereviewed.com/Vermont-Colleges-Universities.html Students always seem to know what’s up since they spend so much time on campus.

Their record is 21-6. Best victory over Boston College. If they don't win the America East Tournament I would give them a 15 seed, if they did win a 12 or 11 spot would fit

first of all, no at-large gets a 15 seed…second of all, they will absolutely not get an at-large bid, they don't play near a good enough schedule to get in with 6 losses…finally, they aren't even the best team in their conference, albany is

I am taking my daughter up there in August for college. And I would like to do something with her before she starts college.
Move somewhere else
I don't think you were even close
