10/26/08: BROOMS UP!
The 2nd Annual Quidditch World Cup was held on the Middlebury College campus this weekend. Teams came from across the country (and even from Canada) to compete for the prestigious title.
Whether you come to it for your Harry Potter fix or treat it as a legitimate sport, quidditch is a jolly good time for all.

As the parent of the Middlebury Seeker this was our 2nd World Cup and I enjoyed the games on Saturday and Sunday. Really want to acknowledge all the great teams that came – Princeton, Green Mountain, LSU, Vassar, University of WA., McGill, University of MA., Boston College, Chestnut Hill College, etc. as well as the 10 Middlebury teams that duked it out on Saturday to represent Middlebury on Sunday. Those were some great and very close games. See ya next year! Michael Free – Philadelphia.
